Daphne's passion is for each person to be fully mature in Christ, based on a solid understanding of the scripture and experience God's power in their lives.

The scripture that is the foundation of this passion is:

And that same Christ gave these gifts to people: He made some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to go and tell the Good News, and some to care for and teach God’s people. Christ gave these gifts to prepare God’s holy people for the work of serving, to make the body of Christ stronger. This work must continue until we are all joined together in what we believe and in what we know about the Son of God. Our goal is to become like a full-grown man—to look just like Christ and have all his perfection .[Eph 4: 11-13 ERV]

This passage was the theme of a series she taught in a UK Sunday School

She understands that order in the church (1 Cor 14:40) provides a firm foundation for effective service for all who want to play a part in building the Kingdom of God.

Daphne draws on her biblical knowledge and her knowledge of church life principles, gained at a full-time bible college, and her professional life experience as office manager, bible college administrator, software tester and trainer, writer of systems manuals, communication and organisational culture in the work that she does at Tuggeranong Baptist Church.

She is convinced that many in the church are continually striving to reach the goals that God has set before them and to do the good works that God has designed for them to do and plays her part by creating pathways to inclusiveness for all.

God has made us what we are. In Christ Jesus, God made us to do good works, which God planned in advance for us to live our lives doing. [Eph 2:10 NCV]
